9:05-9:55 CAT08 Invited Talk: Context-aware User Authentication
Prof. Jakob E. Bardram (Univ. Copenhagen)

Abstract: In this talk I will address the growing research question of combining security with usability -- two areas which traditionally have not been viewed as being connected. With the growing interest into making computing pervasively available (Ubiquitous Computing), the security of these systems are of increasing importance. But, security cannot be obtained by traditional means any longer -- are we for instance required to log into the computer embedded in our refrigerator in order to get a beer? In this talk I will present my work on applying context-aware technologies for security. In particular, I will present work on user authentication (login) to pervasive computing system used inside hospitals.
